WEIGHT WATCHING

Personally, I don't like weighing myself. In fact I rarely have over the past 8yrs.
I know my body well enough these days that I have a good idea of whats going on, and I believe in going by the way clothes are fitting, and various measurements.

However we do have weigh ins on the program, paired with taking measurements. Its kind of important while monitoring your progress.

I’d love to come out and tell you not to weigh yourself often, only when its time to just go off off visual changes.  But I know most of you won’t listen to that and are going to continue to weigh yourself and use the scale as your regular method of tracking progress.   
(for those of you reading and not working with SCG Body I hope you’re using pictures, clothes, measurements, etc as well).

The problem with doing this is many do not understand the bodies cycle in loosing fat. The highs and lows, it can be a bit of an emotional upheaval if you notice an increase in your weight and you are really working your butt off and on track with your eating.

My number one tip for staying emotion free when weighing:

ONLY TAKE NOTE OF YOUR DROPS.
This means keeping record (on paper or in your mind) of drops in weight.  Fluctuations are normal and should be expected.  When you see a drop, EXPECT it to go up before you see it go down again.  

If you are standing there watching the scales like a hawk and expecting steady loss, with no fluctuations and getting emotionally tied into a NUMBER you are going to be unnecessarily stressed, wasting energy that could be used on better things.

So why does this happen?
There are several reasons,  (I am not going to get all technical here, lets keep it simple) for women,  if you are due for your monthly cycle, this will cause a short increase in weight,
However simply put  fat cells will hold water before they drop. And on the cycle will go.   (Hmmmmmm.. Other reasons aside a good idea to guzzle that water I think). 


So do not get discouraged when you go day after day without the weight going down.  Usually the longer it takes to get that next “drop” the LOWER it will be!  

So when you go day after day of 100% on your plan, don’t get frustrated…. GET EXCITED!!  
When days pass without a new drop, DO NOT GO OFF PLAN or you might not see the new drop that is just WAITING around the corner for you.  
It’s there… you just gotta keep earning it!!

STICK TO THE PLAN THE PLAN WORKS…
